I am writing that I have two “Thank You’s” to share. I went to the benefit spaghetti dinner held at the Lansing Community Center on Sunday, Jan. 11, to help the Colerain VFD and I am glad I did.

I want to thank Dave Weekly and all of the volunteers and helpers. I was treated really good and made welcomed. I felt comfortable and relaxed. I had just meant those folks and I was their first customer. I called on the Friday before to get two orders to go. I am glad I did as the dinners were great and I got to eat good twice. I hope they raised a lot of money for their case as they deserve it.

The second “Thank You” goes to The Times Leader as that is how I found out about that benefit. In this day and age of modern times and ways to get the world out, Facebook, etc., It goes to show that the good old fashion newspaper is still a source that works.
