Dear Editor:

I specifically want to put my opinion in on a Buckeye Local Board of Education candidate, April Ogden. I think that she would be a great asset to the Buckeye Local School District, students and all employed. I have known April for over 25 years.

She has lived in and raised two children that graduated from Buckeye Local.

I have seen her ability to be able to work with people, come up with new ideas and, most importantly, she has a level-headed approach to issues.

As I am at the local grocery store, at a sporting event or wherever else I may be, I hear different rumblings about elected officials on how things are run, what someone should have done, what they didn’t do.

I am suggesting that if you are not happy with the person in any office, please take the time to make sure you make a difference by exercising your right to vote.
