Dear Editor,

Thanks so much for allowing me read The Times Leader online. I am Mark Striebich — grew up in Bellaire in the 1950s, 1960s. Greatest place in the world to grow up. The river was our playground, along with Indian Run and Gravel Hill. I have been gone for over 45 years but “The Valley” is in my blood, and reading The Times Leader brings back so many great memories, including those years when my sister and I delivered the paper on Harrison, Franklin, Pine Alley … you name it.

Thanks again so much for allowing me to keep up with one of the greatest places on Earth — and I have visited many other parts of the Earth.
