Dear Editor,

St. Clairsville Area Council of Churches Food Pantry thanks all the volunteers that helped with the Christmas Giving Services held at the First Presbyterian Church and Food Pantry held on December 3rd an 10th at 9:30 am and 1 pm.

We served 120 families of the St. Clairsville-Richland City School District. Thank you to Pastor Kenn Sickle of First Presbyterian Church and Pastor Paul Todd of Calvary Presbyterian Church and Lucien Murzyn for the gift of song broadcast to the parking lot on 90.3 FM .

Each family stayed in their car to hear the Christmas Service.

After each service, the families were directed to the Food Pantry where they received pre-packed boxes of food and gifts – our volunteers packed their cars with the gifts and wished everyone a Merry Christmas. This was the first year that the Food Pantry has had to come up with a new plan for the Christmas Giving Service due to Covid – 19. We thought it went well!

The Food Pantry is closed until Jan. 7, 2021 – 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
