Post office to help small businesses
Dear Editor,
The Bethesda Post Office is hosting an event at 10 a.m. at 111 S. Main St., Bethesda on June 30 to help small business owners strengthen their business by utilizing postal products. Attendees will learn how to innovate and grow their business with USPS tools and applications created specifically with small business owners in mind.
There is no charge and all local businesses are invited.
This year, the postal service is promoting its 2021 small business month theme “Your Business is Our Business” as the office recognizes the importance of supporting small businesses, the jobs they help create, and the quality of life that they provide across the country.
Post offices have been hosting events nationwide during the month of May to demonstrate how the U.S. Postal Service continues to create easy and affordable services designed to help small businesses grow.
For more than two centuries, the postal service has been helping small businesses grow and supporting Main Streets everywhere through the highs and lows.
These events are designed to address the unique needs of small businesses, even during these challenging times.
Participants will learn how shipping and mail services can help their business grow, discover the convenience and value that the postal service can bring to a business, and network with other small businesses in the community.
Small business owners unable to attend can learn more at usps.com. While visiting the website, they may check out tools and applications offered specifically with small business in mind.
