Kids say the darnedest things

Dear Editor,

The subject title (re: Kids), is from the early TV show hosted by Art Linkletter.

The show was true to its name, and Art was wonderful making it work. He also interviewed the elderly. On one occasion the popular TV show(s) host visited a rest home (titled of the day) and greeted the elderly guests. Upon approaching a 93 years of age resident, he kindly bent over to the wheelchair confined lady and with his famous grin, asked the ol’ gal, “Do you know who I am ?”

She quickly replied, “No, but if you ask the fine looking young gentlemen at the desk over there, he will tell you.”

The current POTUS also says the darnedest things.

I kid you not. … I would love to have viewed an Art Linkletter interview of “Joe & Jill” as Jill left the Hill and Joe came “tumbling after.”

In all honesty, I hope the 2020 Presidential Election was stolen, rather than majority voters in America are this ignorant.

I picture “Humpty Dumpty” sitting on a wall … all around the U.S. Capitol building.

Good luck to all the pieces.

I’m not “woke.”
