Deeds & Words

Dear Editor,

“For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation and brings no regret, but worldly grief produces death.”

II Corinthians 7:10 RSV

A stark contrast in history compares the mournful Emperor Nero, who may have fiddled while Rome burned in 64 A.D. with President Biden, who chortles while the United States as founded upon three pillars, The Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and free enterprise totters towards collapse by design 1,957 years later.

Words matter! The United States is not a Secular Democracy but a Republic under the Triune God. The Constitution separates “the Church and State” not “God and State.” The Founders did not annul The Declaration of Independence in the Constitutional Convention but were blessed by God’s wisdom in response to Dr. Franklin’s prayer while drafting this marvelous document. Even a cursory reading of both documents notes the Divine Inspiration!

Our economic pillar is “Free Enterprise” not “Capitalism” — a word coined by 19th century socialists secularizing economics and used by fascists and communists as well to foment war on God and free enterprise and entrench the people in slavery, misery and death. Karl Marx declared, “My object in life is to dethrone God and destroy capitalism.”

Such constitutes the very nature of the competition lived in God’s “Paradigm & Crucible of Freedom & Uniqueness.”

Remember too that “religion is the authority or authorities one looks to define and answer questions of ultimate importance.” As such, atheists are “gods” unto themselves. — Psalms 14:1-2, 81:1-8, John 10:30-39.

God help us in this historic moment according to Jesus Christ’s prophecy in Matthew 21:23-43 and confirmed by the Apostle John in Revelations 19:10-11.
