Dear Editor,

“Remember: democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide. It is in vain to say that democracy is less vain, less proud, less ambitious, or less avaricious than aristocracy or monarchy. … Those passions are the same in all men, under all forms of simple government, and when unchecked, produce the same effects of fraud, violence, and cruelty.”

As “A Republic under the Triune God” (Mt 21:43, Gen 1:26, RSV) so stipulated in The Declaration of Independence, John Adams fully expected July 4th to be celebrated as a religious holiday henceforth as he declared, “Our Constitution was made for a moral, religious people it is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

Remember, “Religion is the authority or authorities consulted to define and answer questions of ultimate importance.” “Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.”-Jn 7:24 As such, The Declaration of Independence articulates that, God, our Creator, is the Source of our “Inalienable Rights of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness” and the Supreme Judge of the world whose sanction of this nation was sought by the founders and whose expected protection merited the pledge of their “lives, fortunes, and sacred honor” in the Godhead’s “Paradigm & Crucible of Freedom & Uniqueness”.-Jn 5:17-47, Mt 21:23-43, Is 33:22

In this light, Adams’ additional comment that, “a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever.”* reminds one of Ronald Reagan’s quote, “Freedom is never more than a generation away. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.” More than a hundred years have elapsed since WWI where the descent of Western Civilization began.

Ironically, in thirty-three years & nine months, “Freedom” was fought for and secured by the Supreme Judge of the world, Jesus Christ, the Second Person of the Trinity, culminating on Golgotha where he justified the Godhead in his body of flesh to this very moment.-Jn 6:51, Mt 11:12, 25-27, Rev 19:10-11 Treated as the most recalcitrant slaves, the Godhead in the body of Jesus endured the hostility of sinners against themselves through Jesus’ death.-Jn 8:28-29, Rom 5:1-21 This act of servitude “… adorn[s] the doctrine of God our Savior.”-Mt 20:25-28, Is 52:13-14, Titus 2:10 Jesus Christ’s resurrection certifies the triumphant, intricate grace of the Godhead.-Jn 16:6-15, 33, II Cor 8:9, Eph 2:8-10, Eccl 11:5 “For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation and brings no regret, while worldly grief produces death–that is the epitaph for all Socialists.-II Cor 7:10 complemented by Jn 1:12-13

With all due respect to John Adams, we are at the juncture of history where the question of what will happen to “Freedom” when the Gentile nation chosen by the Supreme Judge of the world who hung on a cross on Golgotha between two thieves rejects his imperative “to bear the fruits of the kingdom of God” (Mt 21:33-43). Remember his words to his disciples that, “If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”(throughout Time & Eternity) -Jn 8:30-32 And complemented by the Apostle Paul’s words, “… where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom.”- II Cor 3:17 As declared by the Apostle Mark in Mk 1:15, “For the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent, and believe in the gospel.”

Furthermore, Paul’s words to the Greeks in Acts 17:30-31 certify that, “The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all men everywhere to repent, because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and of this he has given assurance to all men by raising him from the dead.” — complemented by Solomon in Prov 16:4-6, “The LORD has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble. Every one who is arrogant is an abomination to the LORD; be assured, he will not go unpunished. By loyalty and faithfulness iniquity is atoned for.” Jesus lived this reality fashioned by his prayers of spirit and life publicly realized at his baptism and ministered for three years to this very moment.-Lk 2:40-52, Heb 5:7-9, Mt 3:15-17, Heb 5:5-6, Lk 22:42-44, 23:34, Mt 27:17-46, Jn 19:30, Lk 23:46, Heb 1:3, I Jn 4:14-18, Jn 1:14-18

The United States of America was not founded as a “Democracy” but as a “Republic under the Triune God” as sanctioned by the Supreme Judge of the world who always reveals the will of God the Father!-Jn 17:19, 26

The repetitive failure to so describe it across the political spectrum leads to the delusion that erupted in “The French Revolution”–a cauldron of totalitarian thinking–whose Specter now seeks domination throughout the world!-Mt 4:1-11, Phil 3:17-19
