God and Texas

Dear Editor,

Jesus made it abundantly clear that there is no way to heaven except through Him. The issue is settled.

It’s not arrogance. It’s truth. We have heard every type of explanation, excuse, diversion, argument, dismissal and rage against what He plainly told the disciples in the Upper Room. It is always the same repetitive verse — “The Bible is so exclusive, so narrow minded, so hateful to even state that God has only ONE way to Him.”

You can take your pick of objections to Him being God’s only son.

The world rather take pleasure in pushing a tool of propaganda disguised as “settled” science to teach that our ancestors were ape-like creatures who somehow “evolved” from instinct and survival into who we are today, and no one dares challenge that claim lest they be branded as some kind of intellectual barbarian or heretic.

These are many of the same people who tell us boys can be girls and vice versa.

So what occurs?

Well, the Texas shooting should be held as an example.

How did this happen?

I don’t have all the answers but I can give you one very important explanation. It happens when we tell a child that they came from some primordial ooze and that they are an accident of nature.

It happens when we tell them that there is no God and there is no eternal consequence to their actions. They are made to believe there is no heaven and hell.

I worry for the generations of the last 40 years and the ones to come. Major cities across America (most under Democrat leadership) with the most stringent gun laws have the worse murder rates in the world.

Ask the people of Chicago and New York how their strict gun and easy bail laws are working.

Every tyrant that has ever destroyed a country and has taken over its people as a dictator takes away the very thing the people need to protect themselves from that tyranny. Hitler, Stalin and Mao would all be applauding the left for their effort to take AR-15s out of the hands of the public. The Second Amendment is there not for hunting, Mr. Biden, but to protect us from the tyranny of our own government.

Most Americans understand that the government is the problem, not them. No, what is happening is a heart and mind issue.

We need to have a divine perspective. This is a God and Jesus issue. The only answer for all of society is Jesus Christ. The only answer is the cross. “But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you. They rely on empty arguments, they utter lies; they conceive trouble and give birth to evil, so that he will not hear.” Isaiah 59:2,4
