Made Perfect

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’

Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”-II Cor12:9, RSV complemented by Eph 1:5-10, 2:8-10, II Cor 8:9, I Ptr 2:9, Jn 1:9

In the wilderness, after forty days of prayer and fasting, Jesus was near death when Satan attacked. Jesus the Christ defeated Satan by affirming his humanity and giving him the opportunity to repent.-Mt 4:1-11 Instead, Satan mocked repentance by turning away to await a more opportune time.-Lk 4:13

Like Eve & Adam, all the rest of us succumb to Satan’s temptations but Jesus did not when Satan repeated those temptations (Job 2:4-5) while Jesus the Christ hung on the cross of Golgotha and affirmed his humanity in his prayers of spirit and life through death glorifying God in his body of flesh.-Jn 12:27-33, 14:30-31, Lk 22:53, Jn 16:7-11, Mt 27:17-44, Jn 19:1-19, Lk 23:34, Mt 5:43-48, Jn 19:30, Lk 23:46, Jn 5:17-32, 6:28-32, 8:28-32, 54-58, 14:6-11, 1:14-18, I Jn 4:14-18, Jn 14:18-23, Mt 1:18-23, Jn 17:1-26, Acts 3:1-26, Ps 24:1-10, Rom 5:1-21, 8:1-3, Jn 6:51 As the Apostle Paul declared in Gal 2:21, “I do not nullify the grace of God, for if justification were through the law, then the Christ died to no purpose.”

Isa 33:1-6, II Cor 4:1-6, Heb 3:1-6, Isa 50:6-11, & II Jn 1:6-11, further address Jesus the Christ’s triumph over the Prince of Darkness in God’s “Paradigm & Crucible of Freedom & Uniqueness.”

In thirty-three years and nine months, Jesus the Christ pioneered and perfected being the Alpha & Omega.-Heb 2:9-18, Jn 1:9-18, Rev 1:4-8, 21:22, Isa 33:22, Jn 5:22, Rev 22:16-21, Eccl 11:5 Jesus fulfilled Elihu’s proclamation, “The Almighty we cannot find him, he is great in power and justice, and abundant righteousness he will not violate” by making God known to the great joy of the Godhead.-Deut 32:3-4, Rom 3:3-4, Heb 12:1-2, Job 8:19, Jn 7:24, 17:24, Mt 11:12, 25-30, 19:30, Rev 19:10-11 Elihu’s name means, “My God is he.”
