Unsecured
Dear Editor,
With lockdown policies in place and repeatedly practiced, an unsecured door in the Uvalde, Texas, middle school led to horrific slaughter.
This a graphic reminder of Texas’ unsecured border allowing a “peaceful but illegal invasion of this nation by unvetted individuals” while immigration laws are in place defining an orderly, lawful process. How many children and adults will die due to this compromise of our national security?
Remember also the Afghani airlift of unvetted thousands. Remember as well all the babes who have died in their mothers’ womb celebrated by many of those who would disarm Americans and make us defenseless too!-Eccl 11:5, RSV
President Obama once addressed the matter of immigration, “Slamming the door in the face of refugees would betray our deepest values. That’s not who we are. And it’s not what we are going to do.”
In fact, our nation’s identity issues from The Declaration of Independence codified in The Constitution resulting from Dr. Franklin’s inspiring prayer in the Constitutional Convention for God’s wisdom.-Js 3:13-18
“Separation of Powers,” “Checks and Balances,” “the Rule of Law,” and “the Bill of Rights” comprise the original check on totalitarian power to which governments down through history are prone.
“Free Enterprise” not “Capitalism”–a 19th century socialist construct secularizing economics–completes the identity this nation is founded upon.-Deut 8:17-20
Instead of building upon this foundation, calls for a new Declaration of Independence, a less restrictive Constitution, and the grandiose proliferation of failed socialist policies are progressively annulling the structure of the greatest Gentile nation in history as sanctioned by the Supreme Judge of the world.-Mt 21:43
These pillars of our society are being purposely reduced to rubble in the false hope of a new world order–a Utopia–a secularization of the promised millennium originally posited under the authority of the Supreme Judge of the world.-Rev 20:1-4, Jn 5:17-47
Psalms 14:1-2 reads, “The fool says in his heart ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds, there is none that does good.
The LORD looks down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any that act wisely, that seek after God.”
In the aftermath of the Uvalde massacre, most of the political commentary has absurdly focused on drafting more laws regulating guns and mental health while our country is rife with murder, stealing and destruction despite an abundance of laws that are often not upheld.-Jn 10:10
Jesus addressed such irrationality by putting his own baptism into historical perspective, “From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and men of violence take it by force.”–Mt 11:12
At that time the Godhead celebrated the completion in righteousness of the Divine Imperative–“Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them (men & women) have dominion. . . .” The Godhead then ultimately endured the hostility of sinners, like ourselves, against themselves through Golgotha to this very moment.-Gen 1:26, Mt 3:15-17, Heb 1:3
The Godhead’s decision to create in the first place is justified by Jesus’ words of spirit and life.-Mt 5:43-48, Lk 23:34, Mt 27:45-46, Jn 19:30, Lk 23:46, Jn 6:51
In the patience displayed on Golgotha, Jesus the Christ continues to judge all pretenders to his God-given authority.-Isa 33:5-6, 22, Jn 5:22, 7:24
Unlike Jesus, “The godless in heart cherish anger; they do not cry for help when he binds them. They die in youth, and their life ends in shame.-Isa 50:6-10, Job 36:13-14
The Apostle Paul declared, “For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things.”-Phil 3:18-19
Hopefully, the deaths in the Uvalde massacre will not prove pointless to our policy-makers in God’s “Paradigm & Crucible of Freedom & Uniqueness.”
