I think I better answer Lucien Murzyn’s question to me: “Are you accusing the Republican officeholders in the county of being “Bad Men (and Women)?

Yes, of course I am.

You asked for some examples, here are some:

Blind support for Donald Trump when he caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people by his denial of COVID-19 as a national problem. Trump should have been imprisoned for negligent homicide. I didn’t hear a beep of protest out of the Belmont County GOP!

I also accuse the local Republican body politic of corruption for their silence when our democracy was attacked by the seditious insurrection of our national Capitol, the people’s house, where seven died and 140 were injured, mostly cops.

Where is the local GOP protest of Trump’s endangering our national security by the stealing of top secret documents and not safe guarding them?

What about Bill Johnson, and the Belmont County GOP denying Biden won the election?

Give me a break. Your political corruption is rampant. I could go on and on and fill up the entire editorial page.
