We have entered a time where we become the subject of our own surveillance.

What do I mean by that?

There is a world around us that is called cyberspace. We are flesh and blood creations of God but Corporations and Governments are creating a digital replica of who we are. Everything we look at, everything we purchase and everywhere we go becomes a digital dna of who we are.

I’ll give you an example: You look at purchasing a refrigerator or speak to your spouse about purchasing a refrigerator, with an Alexa or Echo in the next room, and an advertisement for a refrigerator comes up on your phone or computer. Even though this is a convenience, what is actually happening is far darker. With the development of 5G and Artificial Intelligence, major corporations and governments are able to determine your cultural, political, economic, and religious views. They use algorithms to allow or not allow you to view the subject matter. Go to any web page and look up the subject you may be interested in. What you find is that the first several pages give you the desired viewpoint of the company narrative and you have to go deep into pages to find a different opinion. Many times to find a conservative viewpoint, say on Youtube, you have to type in the exact title of what you are looking for. The big tech companies will say that not enough people are viewing it so it’s buried but we have found on numerous occasions where someone who was getting massive views espousing something the corporate body, tech, government and media does not like suddenly their viewership drops off a cliff or they are eliminated as “misinformation”. Why? Because it must meet the controlling narrative and they want to shape what you think instead of the free exchange of ideas.

You are in a panopticon prison. The guards (corporations and leftist governments) are at the center of the prison tower (internet age) looking down at you in your open top circular cell (computer, workplace or street cameras, cell phones, etc.) but you can’t observe the watchtower to know at any given moment that you are being observed.

We are moving quickly to the Chinese capitalist system, only the power players are reversed. Instead of the Communist government controlling corporations, what we have developed in the west is the control of government by wealthy elitist that will determine what is best for you and your needs. You, may one day, become a non-person. Your bank account shut down. Your travel is restricted. You are basically thrown into a cyber prison. The Communist would come in the night and haul people away to the Gulags. Today, your gulag, is the removal of your digital identity in what will soon become a type of “1984” Orwellian society not controlled by big brother but one controlled by Vanguard, Zillow, Blackrock, George Soros, Bill Gates Foundation, Federal Reserve, the W.E.F. etc. But here is the kicker to all of this. The internet, Alexa, and artificial intelligence are nothing more than information machines. What is scary and frightening here is humanity has poured itself into them and as God so piercingly pointed out in His Word … we are a fallen humanity of sin and the machines only reflect us.
