Dear Editor,

One of the most important and consequential decisions that will be made this November will be that of the Chief Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court.

The most qualified candidate for that huge responsibility is Justice Sharon Kennedy. Justice Kennedy’s Judicial Philosophy is judicial restraint. Kennedy decides only what is necessary to resolve the legal matter, says what the law says, — not what it should be — and decides cases based on the Constitution — not personal or political views.

Ohio needs stability and predictability of the law in our court system. Leadership by Justice Sharon Kennedy would accomplish that goal.

I encourage all voters to do their homework and make informed decisions concerning the judiciary.

Judges’ positions are one of the most significant positions in our democracy and OUR VOTES should be given to those who reflect and understand our values.

Be informed and vote for Justice Sharon Kennedy for Chief Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court.
