Dear Editor,

For the last two years I’ve been trying to understand why Biden’s supporters and die-hard Democrats are unable to see what a horrible mess Biden has made in the country since he became president. Plus his cognitive capabilities are in decline and very obvious with each passing day.

It reminds me of a racehorse trainer who puts blinders or blinkers on their horses. These are used to prevent the horse from being distracted and to stop them from losing concentration.

The Biden supporters and die-hard Democrats have put their blinders on and are refusing to be distracted or even acknowledge what a mess this country is in under Biden’s presidency.

Do Biden and the Washington Democrats care about you and me? No!

Do they care about inflation, the gas and food prices that are sky high? No.

Do they care about the elderly that are on fixed incomes, your 401K or that the border is wide open to anyone and everyone? No.

Do they care that Biden is begging countries that hate us, for oil when we were oil independent under Trump and could be again? No!

All they care about is shoving “climate change” down our throats regardless of the cost and what it would mean to our jobs here at home and our independence.

Not long ago there was a letter to the editor raving about all of Biden’s “outstanding achievements” and that he has had the greatest year of job creation in American history at 6 million. Now Biden says it’s 10 million?

But, according to Wikipedia, among the Presidents from Jimmy Carter to Donald Trump, Bill Clinton created the most jobs at 18.6 million.

What has happened to job creation under Biden — he’s paid people with our tax dollars to stay home!

The same letter claimed Biden’s handling of COVID-19 was an outstanding achievement also. I believe it was President Trump’s administration that launched “Operation Warp Speed,” a project aimed at developing an effective vaccine and manufacturing enough doses for 800 million Americans. The development and distribution of an effective COVID-19 vaccine within one year of the virus is unprecedented. The FDA has said that the process usually takes 8-15 years. If it wasn’t for “Operation Warp Speed,” there wouldn’t be any vaccine.

May I suggest that all of the “never going to change my mind, die-hard Democrats” take their blinders off and be an independent thinker and actually look at the mess this country is in and who, with a stroke of a pen, made it this way?
