Dear Editor,

It was reported that America’s weapons stockpiles are “dangerously low” because our government has used a “presidential drawdown” 20 times since Aug. 2021 to send military equipment to Ukraine.

Now don’t get me wrong. My heart goes out to the people of Ukraine. They are pawns in a chess game between socialist globalists of the west and totalitarian dictators of the east.

But we will do no one any favor by destroying our own ability to defend ourselves if we are attacked.

According to the report, Department of Defense officials have indicated that our low inventory “would be considered problematic during wartime.” Many citizens have family in the military, and all of us are counting on our military to defend our nation, but they can’t do it without weapons.

We also need to understand that our strategic oil reserve and our weapons inventory are very low at a time when wars and rumors of war are common. Instead of utilizing our own oil and gas, this administration has gone “hat in hand” to beg from some of the worst dictators of the world and even they laugh at our decline. Biden went to Saudi Arabia and after the meeting they cut our oil supply down to 1 million barrels a day. By the way, according to some reports. he was telling the Saudis that if they have to cut our supplies, please do so after the elections.

Politics per usual.

Also, Europe is openly protesting against NATO and the United States. We are becoming a pariah to the world. What are these socialists in control going to do now?

They have drawn down our strategic oil reserves to boost their chances of getting re-elected and our gas prices are still awful. Remember on Trump’s last day in office gas was a $2.39 average across America. Do we Americans understand that if we get into a war we have a small amount of oil and gas to help fight it?

You can’t turn the oil and gas pipelines back on like a light switch.

Do we understand that by giving our weapons to Ukraine that we have fewer to protect ourselves? What is the endgame … nuclear war on the European continent?

Why do the Democrats and RINOs have such a deep love affair with the border of Ukraine yet allow massive amounts of illegals (who knows how many terrorists), sexually abused children or women and fentanyl to cross our border every day?

We no longer live in a republic that is guided by the Bible and our Constitution. I believe America is in a spiritual war because we have thrown God out of many of our schools, our courts, our government, our homes, our churches. We have soaked our land in the blood of aborted babies. We know Planned Parenthood has been selling their body parts. We have elected people to lead us that say they are Christians, but they vote for abortion. They promote alternative lifestyles, appoint godless judges, refuse to punish criminals, sell their vote to large campaign contributors, and they ignore what is best for ordinary citizens. We have openly blasphemed God in books, movies, TV and the media (and we have come to regard this blasphemy as normal). Why should God bless us when all we do is pursue evil?

Why are the majority of pulpits of our churches conducting business as usual when we are destroying ourselves?

The only answer for all of us is repentance. Jesus knocks at the door of the heart of our church, our nation and ourselves. Will we repent and invite Him in?
