American freedoms

Dear Editor,

The Times Leader has “freedom” of the press. The “freedom” is far from “free.”

It was paid for through the times of American history. Starting with rebelling against King George III and the British Empire. But today, we are losing freedom by the hours, and dismantling statues and our history. An example, is we are being told by some elite, far left professors and politicians, that calling our nation “America” is a misnomer. Their argument is “America” is South, Central, Latin and North. Well, we could argue, Canada does not want to be called “America”. But, I do believe if we don’t protect our borders we will be called whatever the future, majority of “American” voters care to call us.

I so hope The Times Leader uses its “freedom” to print my thoughtful letter to my fellow subscribers. Freedom and fairness is why I subscribe (with vigilance).

A “Happy New Year” wish for “America.”

While we’re free enough to say so.
