In favor of LifeWise Academy
Dear Editor,
About two weeks ago I saw a letter that was critical of LifeWise Academy coming to our local public schools.
Normally I don’t respond to local commentaries but this one was different. I would challenge individuals to look around them and honestly assess the culture that is being encouraged upon this nation by the media, education, government, etc. This social marxism has been in the plans for decades. We are finally seeing the fruition of a purposeful cultural and racial division brought by those who would like to see the geopolitical development of a global system.
What I believe has happened can best be described by the biblical verse in 1 Corinthians 1:23. To paraphrase ( We preach Christ crucified. To the Jew He is a stumbling block and to the Greek He is foolishness.)
Our nation is made up of several different defined generations. The greatest generation, the silent generation, the baby boomers, the x generation, the y generation, and the z generation. I would contend that the first 3 were Christianized. In other words, like the Jews in the time of Acts 2, they understood the foundation of creationism, man and woman were made for each other, and the concept of sin. But then after the Second World War there was a slow fade to postmodernism, where man became, in a sense, the purveyor of what was truth. Our laws changed.
The Supreme court ruled a separation of church and state in Everson vs. Bd. of Education, Future president Lyndon Johnson gets a law passed that churches will be tax exempt if they don’t speak about politics from the pulpit, the Bible is eliminated from school. Abortion is granted. And the Ten Commandments need to be taken down. The people of the first 3 generational groups may not have been Christian but they, as well as western civilization, were at least Christianized in the understanding of moral absolutes. But, through no fault of their own, the last 3 generations have become like the Greeks in Acts 17. They honestly have no understanding of absolute truth and a moral code. Anything goes. So if all we tell these young people that God died on cross for your sins, they will probably ask which god and what is sin?
They have no foundational moral understanding because they are indoctrinated into evolutionary theory, big bang theory, no sexual boundaries, occult activities and “trust the science,” etc. They speak a different language than the first three generations. And I ask a simple question: Are they better off in their development? I think all we have to do is look around us and see a nation collapsing by a purposeful group of people practicing soft totalitarianism. So I would encourage parents, teachers and friends to support LifeWise Academy which is allowed in Ohio under Ohio law HB 171 (ORC 3313.6022).
If this nation has any chance at survival, we need this.
