For whom the bells toll

Dear Editor,

“Any (person’s) death diminishes me, because I am involved in (personkind): and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls: it tolls for thee.”

(John Donne penned this famous phrase in 1623.and was used by Ernest Hemminway in his book.)

I condemn in the strongest terms possible the Palestinian attack on Israel.

And I equally condemn Israel’s attack on the Pallestinians in retaliation. Both sides murdered children.

Killing by any explosive, whether it be by shell, bomb or any other explosive or any other way to murder another human being, is morally wrong.

NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO TAKE ANOTHER HUMAN LIFE — no matter the reason.

I am deeply saddened by the bells continuingly tolling.
