Dear Editor,

Many in Ohio are perhaps unaware of the importance of Issue 1.

I believe this is intentional. Its purpose is to amend the (state) Constitution citing “reproductive rights” for every individual (including minors). This constitutional amendment would allow abortions to occur up to and including 9 months gestation. There is no parental consent needed. You read that correctly. Your child may have a surgical procedure without your knowledge or consent.

It states that the physician decides on a case by case basis. The physician is an abortionist making thousands of dollars. There are no “rights” for the unborn child. However, the abortionist would be protected by the constitution regardless of the outcome of the aborting of a baby.

Ohio — we would have no recourse, and no power to combat this abrasive, horrible amendment because it will be a constitutional right.

I urge all Ohioans to vote “No” on Issue 1. Don’t allow them to silence us for good. Fight for those who cannot fight for themselves — the Unborn.
