There are two verses in the Bible that I believe could quickly apply to the world in the near future.

Now before I continue ,let me say this. The Bible is the inerrant word of God. I study current events and look at them through the prism of the Bible. I look at trends in culture, politics, religion, economics, etc., and see how strong they concur with what the Bible says must come in the last days. Right now, we have a current war in the Middle East between Israel and the terrorist group Hamas. Israel’s government has stated it must wipe Hamas from the Gaza strip. The interesting thing is hardly anyone wants to control this strip of land. Egypt and Jordan want nothing to do with the Palestianians because Hamas is the muslim brotherhood which almost destroyed Egypt and Jordan. In fact, Jordan’s King Abdullah’s father was murdered by the Palestianians. The world won’t stand for Iran or Turkey to take it over nor Syria or Lebanon because of their serious influence for terrorism. And finally the PLO said they don’t want it either.

Last election HAMAS murdered many of the PLO candidates. There are two scripture verses that may, and again I say may, actually show who will control this area. The first one gives us what may be a clue. “And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though ‘all the people of the earth”‘be gathered together against it.” (Zachariah 12:3.) If no country wants it or shouldn’t have it then it becomes the responsibility of all countries. I propose that the United Nations will move in under NATO and set up their peace keeping forces … the “Blue Helmets” The second verse speaks of a treaty that is either accepted or forced upon Israel. “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” (Daniel 9:27) At this time there is one organization on the earth that could hold the legal right to do this. That is the United Nations. Am I positive this is the way the antichrist begins the seven year reign of tribulati? No. But it makes the best common sense trend of these events coming together in the future. Add to this the convergence of the World Economic Forum, the UN, and NATO with the onset of “digital currency” enforced by “quantum artificial intelligence.” and it seems possible that we are seeing the foundation of what the Bible says is the tribulation period and Revelation 13:16-17. “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” What is important here is not these things but are you committed to Jesus. The time seems short. Please repent and turn to Jesus.
