David Edward Taylor, 85, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, WV.

He was born February 5, 1935 in Bellaire, OH a son of the late Carolyn McClain Taylor and Stanley Taylor.

David was a member of the Rock Hill Presbyterian Church.

He was a graduate of Bellaire High School, class of 1953.

David owned Taylor Construction and had a bachelor’s degree in engineering. He was a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge and a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Connie Taylor, brother William Taylor and sister Phyllis Taylor.

Surviving are his daughters, Tara (Bobby) Wilt and Lisa Taylor.

David is also survived by three grandchildren, Jessica Wilt, Gregory (Amanda) Wilt and Zachary Wilt; as well as two great-grandchildren, Casey and Chase Wilt.

He was also looking forward to the birth of his third great-grandchild, Jaxson Christopher, due February 2021.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, OH 43906 on Saturday, December 26, 2020 from noon to 2:00 p.m.

Services will be held Saturday December 26, 2020 2:00 pm at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home — Bellaire Chapel with the Rev. David Demarest officiating the service.
