St. C. products helping Battlers men’s golf team
The Alderson-Broaddus golf program is still relatively new. However, it’s experienced a lot of success thus far, too.
A big reason for that is because of the contribution of two former St. Clairsville Red Devils.
Adam Jeffries and Seth Vannoy have been key contributors each of the last three seasons for the Battlers and that’s continued into this fall.
Jeffries — who graduated high school in 2013 — enjoyed his finest collegiate outing last weekend. He finished as the runner-up medalist in the Great Midwest Fall Invitational last weekend, posting an impressive 2-day score of 142.
Vannoy, who is a 2014 St. C. graduate, finished 19th in the event in the event with rounds of 80 and 74.
