MORRISTOWN — Union Local posted a three-set victory against Monroe Central by scores of 25-23, 25-19 and 25-17.

Casey Kildow had 10 kills, seven assists, six aces and 21 digs. Sydney Lohr had nine kills, while Alexis Logan had six kills and 14 digs. Emma Knox had 13 assists and Larissa Brandon had three blocks.

Magnolia drops River

NEW MARTINSVILLE — Magnolia picked up another win as it tries to lock down the top seed in the OVAC Class 3A tournament next week by sweeping River, 25-12, 25-15 and 25-18.

The Pilots were led by Macey Ladyga’s nine kills and nine digs. Lauren Flannery had five kills and seven digs. Allison Bennett had 17 assists and three digs.

Shadyside sweeps Buckeye Local

CONNORVILLE — The invading Tigers made quick and easy work of the Panthers, prevailing by scores of 25-12, 25-11 and 25-10.

Macy Coffland had 12 points, seven kills and four aces. Haley Esposito added 12 points and five digs. Madison Davis recorded 18 assists, five digs and 11 points. Jillian Joseph recorded five points, nine kills and digs. Riley Brown had 13 kills and three aces.
