SHADYSIDE — Tory Hendershot belted a home run, single and four RBI as Shadyside defeated Beallsville 16-6 in prep softball action Tuesday evening.

Syd Destifanes was also solid for the Tigers as she compiled three singles and one RBI while Madison Davis and Holly Butler both had a single and double.

Davis plated a run and Butler tallied two RBI.

BELLAIRE — Shaylyn Horvath collected three singles and three RBI in a twinbill against Wellsville this past weekend, but the Tigers prevailed with a pair of one-run triumphs.

GLEN DALE — Chas McCool supplied a home run, two doubles, a single and brought home four runs as John Marshall defeated Martins Ferry. Joel Wise had two singles, one double and a RBI for the Monarchs (12-15) while Josh Schramm secured two singles and two RBI.

Shane Dobbs fired eight strikeouts.

River 6, Monroe Central 2

HANNIBAL — Hunter Dennis had two singles, one double and one RBI to lead River to a victory over Monroe Central. Logan Alleman plated two runs on a single for the Pilots.

For the Seminoles, Collin Kroll had two RBI.
