BARNESVILLE — Rylee Stephens had 16 kills and Madison Detling recorded 12 assists Thursday night as Barnesvillle celebrated Senior Night with a 25-11, 17-25, 25-16, 25-21 victory against Bridgeport in prep volleyball action.

Keirsten Adams added 25 assists for the Shamrocks, while Morgan Winters had 14 assists.

Bridgeport was led on the stat sheet by Jessa Stockwell, who had five kills, five digs and 11 points. Sierra Simeth had seven assists, while Kayleigh Roberts recorded 10 points, two kills and four digs. Maura Tiber had eight digs.

Beallsville Sweeps Madonna

BEALLSVILLE — Ashlie Louden had 11 assists and five kills and Beallsville topped Madonna 26-24, 25-19, 25-14.

Ashley Howell added 10 kills for the Blue Devils, while Trinity Abbott contributed 11 assists.

Seminoles Top Cougars

BEAVERTON — Allee Zwick had 21 points, 12 aces and 18 assists as Monroe Central defeated Frontier 25-15, 21-25, 26-24, 25-17.

Amy Bettinger added 10 points and 13 digs for the Seminoles (8-4), while Trista Morris had 22 digs and seven points. Kalista Friday had 24 digs and Kynzi Bishop had nine kills.

Huskies Down Purple Riders

MARTINS FERRY — Lexi Ferguson had 20 assists and five digs hekping Harrison Central top Martins Ferry 19-25, 25-13, 25-23, 25-12 inside Tolbert Gymnasium.

Kobey Johnson added seven digs and seven kills for the Huskies, while Danyel Beading had seven digs and five kills. Maddy Butler contributed five aces and five digs, while Becca Banks and Kate Crothers had five kills and five aces, respectively.

Shelby Thomas had 12 points, eight assists and six digs for Martins Ferry. Ava Doyle had 11 points, 10 kills and 21 digs; Rylie Doyle had nine points and 23 digs; Kayla Theaker had five digs; Suzanna Bruney collected eight digs; Lakyn Goff had 15 digs; and Jordan Hughes had 18 digs.

Edison Sweeps Buckeye Local

CONNORVILLE — Jenna MacAlister had 36 assists and 11 digs, but it wasn’t enough as Buckeye dropped a three-set decision to Edison.

Abby Kinyo added 12 assists and five digs for the Panthers, who also received six digs from Ashlee Malchowski.

Crusaders Defeat Irish

BELLAIRE — Liz Schnegg had nine digs, but it wasn’t enough as Steubenville Catholic defeated St. John Central Academy 25-12, 25-12, 25-13.

Kyla Kull and Kelsi Gillespie each added seven assists and seven digs, respectively, for the Irish.
