Prep Roundup: Romick wins 300th game as River tops Beallsville

HANNIBAL — Stone Thompson tallied 25 points including hitting five 3-pointers to lead River to a victory over Beallsville, 60-51.

The win gave head coach Mark Romick his 300th career victory.

Brody Lollathin was also solid for the Pilots as he netted 19 while Ty Long had 10.

For the Blue Devils Adam Baker supplied 17 points, Dakota Phillips secured 16 and Wyatt Brown chipped in 11.

Valley 71, Bridgeport 59

PINE GROVE — Gavin Streets and Levi Anderson both poured in 25 points as Valley secured a victory over Madonna. Ryan Baker also was solid for the Lumberjacks with 10 points.

Dylan Gregorcic paced the Bulldogs with a team-high 16 points while Riese O’Kernick and Cooper Dulesky netted 14.

Brooke 76, Buckeye Local 74

WELLSBURG — Cole Sperlazza scored 12 of his 18 points in the fourth quarter as Brooke edged Buckeye Local.

Alex Lilly and Alex Isinghood each netted 14 points for the victorious Bruins, while Nick Brown added nine.

Jacob Moffo paced the Panthers with 34 points, followed by Cameron Grabits with 17 and Hunter Darrah with 10.

Monroe Central 66, Buckeye Trail 65

WOODSFIELD — Dillon Lincoln turned in 17 points as Monroe Central won a thriller over Buckeye Trail.

Auston Hogue supplied 12 points and Garet Cramer added 10 for the Seminoles.

St. Clairsville 71, Beaver Local 64

ST. CLAIRSVILLE — The Red Devils picked up a victory over Beaver Local on John Jenkins Court thanks to four double-digit scorers.

Leading the way was Will Balgo, who had 19. Drew Sefsick added 18 off the bench, while seniors Nate Harris and Brett Vike went for 16 and 11, respectively.
