Area quartet receives special honors on All-East District

With the prep basketball season completed for area teams and winding down across the Buckeye State, post-season accolades continue to pile up for area players.

The Ohio Prep Sports Writer’s Association has announced the All-Eastern District squads for both boys and girls. The All-Ohio teams will be announced later in the month.

Numerous area players garnered a spot on one of the top three teams and two players and a like number of coaches earned special recognition.

After a 2-21 campaign in 2019-20, the Huskies finished 16-6 this season.

The Huskies were led by First-Team All-District selection McKayla Dunkle, who averaged a double-double.
