Post 159 prevails in season opener
MINGO — St. Clairsville Post 159 opened the American Legion baseball season with a 10-0 victory over Jefferson County on Wednesday night.
Tyler Tonkovich scattered four singles and struck out three in a complete game effort.
Will Balgo led the offense with a single and double that chased home three runs. Colin Snedeker added two RBI with a pair of singles. Braylen Blomquist and Drew Sefsick evenly divided four singles and Dakota Hess singled in a run.
