OLD WASHINGTON – Union Local kept its OVAC Tournament hopes alive when it went to Buckeye Trail and posed a 44-32 Tuesday evening.

The Jets, fresh off a triple OT win at Cambridge, received 13 points from junior Beezer Porter and 11 from classmate D.J. Butts.

Buckeye Trail was led by Franko Rome’s game-high 15.

WOODSFIELD – The surging Seminoles shook off a slow first half to pull away from the invading Zeps on Tuesday.

Monroe Central scored 38 of its points in the second half.

The Seminoles were led by senior standout Malachi Rose-Burton’s 21 points. Tucker Howell and Jake Swisher added 14 and 13, respectively.

Shenandoah was led by Xander Fairchild’s 17.
