St. Clairsville Red Devils win over Edison, 54-49

ST. CLAIRSVILLE — Anna Kain led four Red Devils with 15 points in their win over the visiting Wildcats.

Kendal Sall added 12 and Alexa Druzin and Kesslee Barrera evenly split 20.

MOUNDSVILLE — John Marshall outscored visiting Dover, 7-0, in overtime Monday night for a 39-32 victory in an OVAC Girls’ Basketball consolation bracket game inside the John Marshall Field House.

Kayli Derrow dropped in 20 points and Rilee Storm added 16. Kaylee White had the other three points.

University 83, Wheeling Central 57

WHEELING — Trailing by a point after one quarter, the visiting Hawks outscored the Maroon Knights 29-14 in the second period and coasted from there on Coach Skip Prosser Court.

Kaitlyn Blake scored 22 points for Wheeling Central. Bella Fitzsimmons added 12.

Shadyside 32,

Beallsville 26

BEALLSVILLE — The Tigers claimed victory in a low-scoring affair over the Blue Devils.

Shadyside was led by Kaci Tsoras, who scored 15 for the home team, and Maci Hendershot, who scored 10.

Beallsville’s Kinley Hughes led her team in scoring with 11, joined in double figures by Megan Robinson with 10.

BEALLSVILLE — Jaki Threet scored 24 points, Jaleel Vincent scored 22, and the Bulldogs came out on top over the Blue Devils.

Logan Taylor led Beallsville with 14.

Brooke, Buckeye Local Split Match

Boys

WELLSBURG — The Bruins rolled a 2,105 to the Panthers’ 1,643 as Darion Hilton had a 222 game and 410 series. Seth Schroeder had a 206 and 386, respectively, for Brooke.

Thomas Beranek had a 163 game and 312 series for Buckeye Local. Noah Jack added a 158 and 292, respectively.

Girls

The Panthers prevailed by eight pins, 1,505 to 1,497 as Melissa Smith rolled a 167 game and 302 series.

Kaylee Tuttle had a 209 game and 366 series for Brooke. Tegan Williams added an 184 and 355, respectively.
