WOODSFIELD — The Monroe Central Seminoles cruised to a Division IV sectional co-final victory over the Bridgeport Bulldogs on Saturday, trouncing their opponents 67-16.

Jacob Fogle scored 23 points to lead the ‘Noles, making six 3-pointers, followed by Dylan Parden with 12, Chance Allen with nine and Tucker Howell with seven.

Jaleel Vincent led Bridgeport with seven.

Union Local 52, Garraway 49

BELMONT — The Jets took their own piece of hardware, claiming victory in a D-III sectional co-final over the Pirates.

Alex Moore stepped up for Union Local with 19 points, followed by Easton Ditzler with 10 and Dre Saunders with nine.

Garraway was led by Blaine Raber who scored 19.

A 16-10 first-quarter advantage turned out to be the difference for the sectional champs.
