Steubenville and Linsly battled to a 1-all draw in boys’ high school soccer action on Saturday.

Luke Dinovo had the lone Big Red goal while Javier Vizuete found the net for the Cadets.

Ethan Llewellyn had four saves for Steubenville (2-0-2). Kenzo Iriondo charted seven for Linsly.

Buckhannon-Upshur 7, Brooke 3

The Buccaneers defeated the Bruins in a game called after 54 minutes due to weather conditions.

Chase Hile had two goals and an assist for Brooke. Evan Urso scored the other goal. Jacob Johnson had 14 saves.

Monroe Central Sweeps

The Seminoles won by scores of 25-18, 25-14 and 25-20 in a Monroe County match against Beallsville.

Leading the winners were Jacey English with nine kills, 17 points, 14 digs and six aces. Maclarin Craft added 15 points, seven digs and a block. Karlie haslam chipped in 18 assists and five points.
