MORRISTOWN — The second annual Union Local Jets Summer Slam Shootout will be held on June 6 at two locations: Union Local High School/Middle School and the ECO Center. Play begins at 9 a.m. and each team is guaranteed at least three games. There will also be a 4-minute OT Tournament.

Entry fee is $225 per team. Make checks payable to Union Local Girls Basketball Boosters, 66779 Belmont-Morristown Rd., Belmont, Ohio, 43718.

Admission is $6 per person — all day passes to both locations. There will be concessions available at both sites.

Games will consist of two 16-minute halves with a running clock. The last minute of each half will be played with regular clock rules. There will be a 3-minute halftime of each game. Each team will receive one timeout per half. There are no carryovers. Tie games will go to a sudden-death overtime.

Pool play will be used. The pools are as follows:

Pool A

West Muskingum, Wheeling Park White, Zanesville, Monroe Central

Pool B

Barnesville, Wheeling Park Red, St. Clairsville, Union Local Red

Pool C

Union Local White, Steubenville, Waterford, John Marshall

Pool D

Bellaire, Meadowbrook, Claymont, Shadyside

Pool E

St. Marys, Caldwell, Shenandoah, Wheeling Central
