Kalkreuth’s Amateur Golf Championship celebrates 10 years of community impact

WHEELING — The Kalkreuth Amateur Golf Championship (KAGC) returns to Oglebay Park’s Speidel Golf Course the weekend of July 26-27, celebrating 10 years of bringing golfers together in support of Easterseals.

Since being launched, the KAGC has raised more than $373,000 to benefit Easterseals’ mission of providing life-changing services for children and adults with disabilities. Proceeds from the event help offset the cost of care for families in the Ohio Valley. “Hitting the 10-year mark speaks to the heart of what this tournament is all about–showing up, year after year, for families who need support,” said Jim Hurley, president and CEO of Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal. “We’re honored to stand behind Easterseals and the life-changing support they provide.”

The tournament is open to golfers of all skill levels. Registration is available at oglebaygc.com/kalkreuth-registration through 9 p.m. Monday, July 22. The championship will begin on July 26 at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start.

Kalkreuth and Easterseals thank the many sponsors who make this event possible, including Co-Title sponsors ABC Supply Co., Carlisle Construction Materials and Johns Manville.
