Local umpires to do Ohio D-VII championship game

An Ohio Valley 4-man umpiring crew has been selected to work next weekend’s Ohio Division VII state championship game at Canal Park in Akron. From left are Donnie Madzia, Mike Cox, Sam Jones and Jimmy Little. They also did Thursday’s Ohio Division V, Region 19 championship game at Marietta College between St. Clairsville and Lynchburg-Clay.
