St. Clairsville Post 159 falls to Shelby, N.C.
ST. CLAIRSVILLE — Visiting Shelby, N.C. Post 82 struck for six runs in the top of the seventh inning Thursday night to stun St. Clairsville Post 159, 6-1, in American Legion baseball action on the Unified Bank Field at the Junior Sports Complex.
Evan White singled in the lone St. Clairsville run.
Shelby remains in the Ohio Valley to play Wheeling Post 1 Saturday at 11 a.m.
St. Clairsville hosts Cambridge for two games on Sunday.
