Barnesville wins against Meadowbrook
BARNESVILLE — Barnesville won for the 38th straight time during the regular season with a 51-21 verdict over visiting Meadowbrook Friday night at Shamrock Stadium. The victory gave them the Bill Dowler Trophy.
Barnesville hasn’t lost since week 4 of the 2021 season.
No further details were provided.
The Shamrocks travel to Bellaire next Friday.

REPUBLIC, Pa. — Sam McLean threw four touchdown passes to three different receivers as the Red Devils (1-1) won on the road.
McLean went 8 for 10 for 142 yards. Two of his scoring strikes went to Ollie Muhly, while Hunter Orum and Landen Serrano caught the others.
Backup quarterback Luke Shafer also threw a TD pass to Jaxon Starks.
Muhly finished with four catches for 70 yards.

WOODSFIELD — Michael Dippel passed for 336 yards and Raekwon Pettigrew caught four touchdowns and returned a fumble for a fifth score as the Big Reds (2-0) outscored the host Seminoles (0-2) at Monroe Park.
Dippel and Pettigrew hooked up from 69, 66, 56 and 45 yards while Pettigrew ran a fumble back 24 yards. He caught seven passes for 259 yards.
Cooper Howell returned an interception 39 yards to get the scoring started for Monroe Central. He also threw a 43 yard scoring pass to Corbin Farnsworth and a 34-yard strike to Max Demchak. Demachak returned a punt 52 yards for a score.
Rylin McMahon ran six yards for a Bellaire touchdown.
Cameron 22, Clay-Battelle 16
CAMERON — The Dragons (1-0) rallied from an 8-0 deficit to the visiting Cee-Bees by scoring 22 unanswered points at Dragon Field.
Kason Angel completed 9 of 14 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown. Soier Reed caught six passes for 116 yards and the TD. Marshall Holland ran 14 times for 68 yards and a touchdown. Talen Brown added a TD run and a pair of 2-point conversions.

Magnolia Falls To Williamstown
NEW MARTINSVILLE — Two tight-as-can-be losses in the first two sets of Thursday’s match between the Blue Eagles and Yellowjackets played a deciding role in Williamstown’s road win, 26=24, 26-24, 18-25, 25-18.
Karli Warder led Magnolia with 11 kills. She was trailed closely by Jessa Anderson, who had 10 kills and 13 digs. Hallee Beisel led the Blue Eagles with 22 digs.
Sydney Quinet was the assist-woman Thursday with 28. Audri Quinn finished with three blocks.
Magnolia is 1-1 on the young season.
