BEALLSVILLE — The Purple Riders shot a 165 to easily defeat St. Clairsville (201) and Monroe Central (208) at Switzerland of Ohio Country Club.

Hunter Shutler shot a sizzling 38 to lead Martins Ferry. Dylan Pielech and Connor Best each shot 42.

Ariel Maevsky had a 45 to lead the Red Devils, while the Seminoles’ Caedyn Silva fired a 41.

BECKLEY — The Maroon Knights faced off with the Shady Spring Tigers on the greens at Glad Spring in Beckley on Tuesday, with the Tigers having the better day on their home course, 320-332.

Shady Spring’s Cooper Ward was the medalist with a 76.

Rowan Parker carded an 80 to lead Wheeling Central, followed by an 83 from Bode Burge, an 84 by Conner Ball and an 85 from Issac Tiu on the 18-hole course.
