NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. — Bethany College women’s basketball freshman guard Lindsey Best, a Martins Ferry graduate, has been named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Week for the first time in her career.
Best earned her first career weekly accolade and the first of the 2025-26 season after making her collegiate debut against Marietta last weekend. In her first game as a Bison, Best got the starting nod and scored 15 points on 7-of-11 shooting while also recording four boards, three assists, a steal, and a block against the Pioneers.
