Inaugural BMAC/WVU Basketball Clinic Scheduled

The Belmont Mountaineer Athletic Club (BMAC) will hold its inaugural basketball clinic Saturday, April 11 from noon to 3 p.m. at Wheeling University’s McDonough Center.

Boys and girls ages 8-12 are welcome. The fee is $40 per camper.

The clinic will emphasize skill development, confidence and teamwork. This energetic session will include drills and games led by experienced coaches. WVU alumni Liz Repella and Chase Harler, and Wheeling University head coach Chris Richardson will lead sessions.

Repella is a Steubenville High School graduate and four-year starter for the Mountaineers, leading them to a NIT berth in 2009. She was a two-time All-Big East first team honoree and played professionally in Spain. She is a member of both the WVU and OVAC Hall of Fame.

Harler is a Wheeling Central graduate, a four-year member of the Mountaineers and team captain his senior year. Following graduation, he played professionally in Australia and Europe.

Richardson is a WVU grad and was the 2025-26 MEC Coach of the Year. He has 18 years of college coaching experience, beginning his career as an intern for the Memphis Grizzlies and holding positions at Central Missouri, Delta State, Fairmont State, Charleston and Arkansas Tech before Wheeling.

For registration, access the BMAC Facebook page or call John S. Marshall at (740) 695-4262.
