High School Roundup: Shadyside Walks-Off Buckeye Local
SHADYSIDE – After watching visiting Buckeye Local tie the game at six with two runs in the top of the seventh inning, Shadyside walked it off in the bottom of the inning and win 7-6.
Ryan Collins singled twice and drove in two runs for the Tigers. Aaron Pacifico singled and doubled to knock in a pair, while Dominic Forgacs had two singles and an RBI. Trey Wright picked up a run batted in and also struck out seven, walked two and gave up four hits before giving way to Nathan Beck with one out in the seventh. Beck earned the win.
Jordan Kovalski singled twice and plated three runs for the Panthers. Tyler Schubert had a run-scoring single and Coop Baker had a double.

Spring Mills 6, Wheeling Park 4
MARTINSBURG — The Patriots were eliminated from the WVSSAC Class AAAA playoffs after a two-run loss to the Cardinals on Friday.
Harmony Bittner collected three hits, including a double, while London Fankhouser popped a solo home run to highlight Park’s offense.
Bittner also pitched the full game inside the circle, striking out a pair.
