ST. CLAIRSVILLE - The Curt Smelley Era at Bridgeport didn't begin the way the former Bulldog great had planned.
Due to flooding in the southeast corner of Perkins Field at Bill Jobko Stadium in Brookside on Thursday morning, the season-opening game with Frontier was moved to Red Devil Stadium in St. Clairsville with an 8 p.m. kickoff, following the Weir-St. Clairsville girls soccer match.
The Bulldogs fell 50-14 against the Cougars on Thursday.
