CADIZ - Harrison Central and Shadyside split in high school golf on Monday at the Cadiz Country Club.
The Huskies prevailed in girls' action with a four-player score of 222 as Reese Dunlap led the way with a 47. The Tigers, who fielded just three players, were paced by Callie O'Donnell with a 52.
In boys action, Shadyside's Wyatt Parr earned medalist honors with a 40, one shot ahead of Harrison Central's Jax Triplett.

NEW MATAMORAS -- The River Pilots continued their spotless start to the 2026 season with a sweep of the Cougars, moving to 4-0 on the year.
Mallaire Maddy and Hallie Hammel once again led the Pilot attack, finishing with 16 and 11 kills, respectively.
Hammel led the team in digs with 22. Aubrey Fetty collected 19 digs and Maddy had 16.
Gracen Reed's setting efforts netted 28 assists.
Karly Showalter blew four aces past Frontier. Addie Lee had three aces of he brown, while Hammel and Aubrey Fetty each had two.

Delk Named PSAC East Athlete of the Week
LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Junior forward Merritt Delk (Wheeling, W.Va./Wheeling Park) of the Shepherd University women's soccer team has been named PSAC East Athlete of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday.
Delk scored the game-winning goal in a 3-1 win over West Virginia State in the season opener. She added two goals and an assist in a 3-0 triumph over Mansfield.
