CLARENCE CLOUSE

Clarence A. Clouse, 84, of Barnesville, OH, passed away on September 3, 2020, at his home, surrounded by family.

He was born in Buttermilk, near Flushing, OH, on June 7, 1936, to the late Lewis G. and Samantha White Clouse.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Lucas; and two half-sisters, Wilma Connor and Dorothy Fisher.

Clarence was retired from Ormet Corp. He was a member of the Army Reserve and the American Legion post 168. He grew and was awarded the “King Pumpkin” at the Barnesville Pumpkin Festival in 1997.

Clarence is survived by his wife of 62 years, Shirley Finnicum Clouse; children, Bill (Brenda), John (Karen), Kathy (Dave), Larry (Lori), Kristen (Jason); 12 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brother, Louie (Dorothy) of Massillon.

At Clarence’s request, there will no visitation or service.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you for the cards and offers of help from family and friends and to the doctors and nurses who took care of Clarence.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Guernsey, whom the family would like to thank for the care Clarence received.
