BEALLSVILLE — Numbers, experience and excitement are up with the Beallsville boys track team and husband and wife coaching duo Mason and Tori Lang begin yet another season.
BOYS
The Blue Devils will boast one of the area’s premier 100 meter sprinters in senior Brandon Louden. He was a regional finalist in that event and also the small-school OVAC champion and the district champion. He will also compete in the 200 and high jump.
Sophomore Marky Louden returns and will take part in the sprints and shot put, while sophomore Chandler Osborne leads the distance runners in the 800 and 1600.
Sophomore Conner Hagan expects to see time in the throwing events as well as the 200, while classmate Ethyan Baker is in the 400 and high jump.
Three freshmen — Joey Osborne, William Travis and Kyler Graham — are versatile. Osborne is a sprinter, while Travis will compete in distance and Graham is a middle distance runner and throwers.
GIRLS
The lone girl on the roster is sophomore Cloe Levan. She’s versatile enough to compete in the 200, 400 and even up to the 800 meters.
