I fully agree with the Ms. Corsi’s views on animal mistreatment, but would add one caveat:
I’ve attended many law enforcement schools over the past years, including criminal psychology. One of the facts presented was that a surprising number of serial killers had a prior history of animal abuse. Some of these signs began in early childhood.
I’m not intimating that because your child pulls the puppy’s ear he/she has a problem, but if you observe anyone abusing animals, it should be noted and reported.
