WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. — West Liberty University Athletics is set to kick off the 2026-27 athletic year with its Annual Fall Sports Coaches Show on Thursday, Aug. 20, at 2 p.m. from West Family Stadium. The annual event will bring together the head coaches of West Liberty's fall sports programs for an afternoon preview of the upcoming seasons. Laviolette, 28, is ready to begin the next chapter of his hockey career, as he earns his first coaching opportunity with his hometown team.
