MARIETTA, Ohio – The Ohio Department of Development, Buckeye Hills Regional Council and Southeast Ohio’s Community Action Agencies want to remind older Ohioans that assistance is available to help with their home energy bills. Applied directly to the customer’s utility or bulk fuel bill, the benefit can help manage heating costs. Older Ohioans can go to their local Area Agency on Aging office for help with assembling the required documents and completing their HEAP application. At 7:12 p.m. Tuesday, an officer on a traffic stop on National Road in St. Clairsville near East Richland Market issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for improper display.
