Carolyn Sue (Hodor) Nixon, 77, of Shadyside, OH, formerly of Wheeling passed away on Wednesday January 25, 2023. She was born September 25, 1945, in Wheeling, daughter of the late Walter and Edna (Meyers) Hodor. Carolyn retired from Kroger’s in Warwood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Nixon and a daughter, Barbara Tucker. William E. Mooney, 91, of Wooster died January 25, 2023. He was born October 6, 1931, in Bellaire, to Lloyd and Eva (Camden) Mooney, graduated from Bellaire High School in 1950, served in the United States Air Force, and married Catherine Frances Lovrak. Benjamin Blair, of St. Clairsville, died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023. He was 85 years old. A lifetime Ohio Valley resident, Ben’s parents were Esther and Ruel Blair. As a young man he loved to explore, draw, and especially work on and race cars. Ben could fix just about anything and after he retired became an accomplished woodworker and furniture maker.
